The SOS 2009 Edition includes many new, exciting features for homeschooling families, including customizable homepage themes for students and parents. SOS users can easily add their personality to the curriculum with the new MiSOS homepage theme, which features a variety of color options, as well as the ability to add personal photos and "Word or Bible Verse of the Day" applications. For Internet-ready users, MiSOS also offers a new search engine toolbar and RSS feed options. Plus, the lesson planner, message center, and resource tools can now be rearranged and opened with a single click.
The SOS 2009 Edition also features new assignment icons that allow students to see if an upcoming assignment is a lesson, project, quiz, or test. In addition, the new Daily Work Report allows homeschool parents to quickly view day-to-day student activity, promoting student accountability and simplifying recordkeeping.
